Black White Read LLC, which publishes a number of local online community newspapers covering Lake Highlands, Lakewood, Lakewood Heights, Wilshire Heights, Forest Hills, Gastonwood/Coronado Hills, and Hollywood/Santa Monica - needs contributing writers.

We provide coverage pertinent and exclusive to the neighborhoods we serve, and you should be from one of those neighborhoods or have close ties. We're a little cheeky in the way we present the news.

We have a need for experienced writers, preferably journalistic writers, but we're open to people who have public relations writing experience. We're looking for freelance contributions from people who have a lively writing style and are not afraid to break out of the stodgy, traditional newspaper mold. Double entendre intended.
