High school is hard enough for any student. Imagine the challenge of attending an American high school when English is your second language.
Yet, with hard work and expert coaching from teachers, students can excel in academics.
Woodrow Wilson High School conducts a vigorous English-as-a- second-language, or ESL, program led by department Chairman Marjorie Shaw. Students complete the same course requirements, but also work to master English.
