Granting Wishes

Mike Moran, an English teacher and yearbook sponsor at Woodrow Wilson High School, wants to add some “digital learning” to his classroom.

To achieve his goal, he applied for a Dell Mircogrant of $200, which also comes with a video camera.

Thing is, though, the final selection process isn’t limited to a panel of judges. Grant recipients are selected through an online voting process.

Moran needs the help of the Woodrow community — dare we say Woodrow Nation? — to win the grant. After initial approval, Moran hopes to land in the top 10 vote-getters, which would place him among the winners.

Head over to WeAreTeachers.com, navigate to page 14, “We Are Woodrow,” and vote away.

He thanks you.End of story
