Lakehill Preparatory School recently announced the selection of Holly Walker as the new director of admission.

Lakehill officials looked at qualified candidates from the top private schools in Dallas and engaged an educational search firm. The search led full circle back to Walker, a Lakehill graduate and parent of an incoming kindergarten student.

She officially starts Aug. 1.

“Walker’s passion, creativity, and experience clearly satisfy the many strenuous criteria and qualifications developed by the school and the board of directors,” said Lara Gajkowski, assistant head of school.

Walker replaces Susanne Seitz, who recently celebrated 10 years of service to Lakehill. Seitz leaves to stay home with her 2-year-old daughter.

“I am thrilled to have Holly on board at Lakehill,” Seitz said. “I look forward to working with her over the summer to ensure a seamless transition, and know she will be a wonderful addition to Lakehill’s administrative team.”

“Holly is a talented individual with outstanding organizational and administrative skills,” said Headmaster Roger Perry. “She is also an exceptional communicator who builds bonds with others. As a Lakehill graduate, she truly understands the unique and special mission of our school.”
