Lakehill to Dedicate Science Center

Dallas Mayor Tom Leppert makes a special appearance tomorrow during the dedication services of the new Alice and Erle Nye Family Environmental Science Center at Lakehill Preparatory School.

The dedication ceremonies begin at 10 a.m., Sept. 10, at the Roger L. Perry Campus.

The program includes a performance by the Lakehill Choir, a welcome by local television sportscaster and 1992 graduate Gina Miller, opening remarks from Headmaster Roger Perry, a historical perspective from Chairman Brent Rosenthal, a proclamation by Leppert, the dedication by Perry, and closing remarks by Miller.

We plan to take our Dramamine before arriving because this ride’s going to be wild.

The science center earned LEED Silver Certification as established by the U.S. Green Building Council. It spreads across more than 40 acres and provides indoor and outdoor learning areas for students.End of story
