The last time we spoke to last year's Woodrow grad Matthew George, who wrote a few pieces for us here at Black White Read, he was going to “play the field” at his new educational institution, Yale University.

No particular major or career in mind, and probably no plays or musicals, at least for a while. 

Well, we called mom Cindy George and pried a few details out of her. Seems the stage proved just too tempting for Matthew. Just finishing his first semester, Matthew has been in four productions so far at Yale, including a production of Stephen Sondheim's musical, Into the Woods, an excerpt of which we bring you here, courtesy of a YouTube poster.

Cindy says to watch for the Matthew's trademark laugh, but his singing voice sounds pretty good too.
