Bands from the Zounds Sounds School of Rock performed onstage at Club Dada for their fall concert on Sept. 21.
Zounds Sounds music school put on its fall concert at Club Dada on Sept. 21. Owner and instructor Marc Solomon said it was biggest concert they have put on to date.

Gus Baldwin is in both Pitch Black and Rival Cycle, the bands that opened and closed the show, so he was at Dada for the whole concert. Now, that's rock star.
Thirty bands formed during their summer camp sessions and 20 of those performed at the Dada show. The bands ranged in ages from 8-year-olds to the veterans who, at 17 and seniors in high school, were playing their final shows before leaving for college.
Rival Cycle is one of the younger bands, but according to Soloman they are "awesome. That's the future there, baby." Matt Musso, vocalist for Rival Cycle has a great rocking little band.
Though the younger bands usually play earlier in the night, one member was out of town, so Rival Cycle was put in the closing spot of the night.
"They were one of the most fun bands over the summer, and they packed the place on a Sunday night at 7 p.m.," gushed Solomon. "They brought their own fan base."
