2...4...6...8... Go Lakewood Stallions!

Everyone at Lakewood is probably really excited for the up coming Field Day. It's my first year here and I had tons of questions for Coach Coleman. Dads from the "Friends of Lakewood" program help run the events and fields.

Each student can do up to 3 or 4 different events and everyone is required to do water relay and tug of war. Coach's favorite event is water relay because she enjoys watching kids work together. She loves field day because she likes seeing kids have fun with each other.

Although I am new we had Field Day at my old school and it was a lot of fun. We get to exercise and enjoy ourselves doing crazy and silly events such as potato sack race, egg toss, and soccer relay. My friend, Lauren Murray confirmed that for newcomers and long-term students, "Field Day is a load of fun."End of story
