Homecoming court: Jacy Franklin, Eshe Rasheed, Amanda Boles, Kiley Trent, Jenna Burch, Lauren Rosenthal, and Cally Pope
Rockwall Heritage Christian Academy ended Lakehill Preparatory School's five-game winning streak at home Oct. 16, claiming a 60-15 victory.
The Warriors entered the game undefeated at home, but couldn't hang on against the 2008 2A state finalists.
The Warriors’ record falls to 6-2 overall and 0-1 in district standings. When asked about his strategy for getting the Warriors to the playoffs, head coach Chris Peacock said, "It's been a great season so far. Our district is the toughest in the entire state. Playing Greenville Christian and Dallas Covenant on the road won't be easy, but we've got to find a way to get the job done. Our guys are still very focused and aware of what's at stake. When we play mistake-free football we are hard to beat."
Lakehill celebrated its 37th homecoming with activities and events for students, alumni, and the community. One of the most anticipated events was the presentation of the homecoming court, nominated by the varsity football team and the crowning of the homecoming queen, elected by the middle and upper School.
