Lakehill Preparatory School conducts its first Environmental Summit, a free speaker series for local business owners and community members sponsored by Professional Bank-Lakewood and its Lakewood-area and Park Cities-area Women in Business groups.

The first event, Going Green with Your Business, is geared toward small business owners and features three top-rated speakers.

The summit takes place from 8:30-11 a.m., Feb. 23, at the LEED silver certified Alice and Erle Nye Family Environmental Science Center at Lakehill's Roger L. Perry Campus. Exhibitors’ booth and display setup time begins at 8 a.m., followed by a light breakfast and time to network.

Anna Clark, author of “Green, American Style” and president of EarthPeople, will speak on Ten Reasons to Green your Small Business — and Five Ways to Do It. EarthPeople is a consulting and communications firm that helps clients of all sizes save money and bolster their brands through profitable green strategies.
