Griffith adds new hat

Most people around here know Gary Griffith or at least know who he is — former District 9 city councilman, candidate for mayor, park board representative, plan commission member, chairman of the White Rock Lake Conservancy, State Fair board member, president of both the Today Foundation and Safer Dallas Better Dallas, Woodrow grad, and all around nice guy.

Griffith now can add one more title to his list: chairman of the Dallas Summer Musicals board of directors.

He assumes the position as the musicals celebrate 70 years in production, so happy anniversary.

Just one question remains — can he sing?End of story
